Greetings!

A celestial sign will appear in the sky within the next two weeks that speaks of the birthing of war. That war should be about to break forth comes as no shocking revelation to those who have been mindful of the voices of the prophets and know that the celestial prophets are a synchronized testimony appointed by the Heavenly Father. The military and political powers of Iran and Israel, Russia and the US have been doing some posturing in recent days. This posturing often occurs without producing serious conflict but it appears the appointed season for prophesied war has come. This is one means where Yahweh will judge the earth and discipline His people. There's much friction between many other countries and the relationships are nearly all very tentative.

The images show the sign that will mark the eleventh day of the sixth month (Elul) on the Lord's calendar. These are as from Jerusalem as the sky darkens shortly after sunset. The planets in view are Venus, Mars and Mercury, from upper right to lower left and color-coded as white, red and gray. The image on the left is on the eleventh of September and the other is a day later, the beginning and end of the eleventh day of the sixth month. Venus, moving from the right to the left, catches and passes the other two planets, passing very close by Mars. (Jerusalem time is 10 hours ahead of me on the Pacific coast, so when it is noon in Jerusalem it is only 2 AM here.) The three planets will be in a straight line during the daytime in Israel, when the planets cannot be seen due to the brightness of the sun, yet it is this straight line alignment that speaks to me as a sign.

Virgo is the virgin, representing Mary as when she was bringing forth her son the Messiah. Virgo is also Israel, and, too, the church. Mars is sandwiched between Venus and Mercury. Mars signifies war, bloodshed, and the archangel Michael. Venus signifies motherhood and birthing. Mercury bears testimony as a messenger, and the archangel Gabriel. Venus and Mercury together in a sign are a birth announcement. Involving Mars in Virgo, the sign is the announcement of the birthing of war relative to Israel and the church, the Lord's "virgin" people. I am confident in this interpretation based upon previous important signs in the past that establish the precedent. Whether the announcement marks the breakout of war's first strike I do not know.

The sign comes on a day of infamy, September 11, 911, which should be quite familiar due to the events in 2001. A huge scam was put over on the people of the world, and especially of the US and NYC. The cover up continues to this day as no parties have come forward and confessed their guilt. People, this sign comes in the midst of the major hurricane storm activity in America that is pregnant with symbolism (re Joseph Herrin's parablesblog). The storm named Gustav, which means staff of God, is heading for New Orleans, as Katrina before it, once again disrupting the Southern Decadence festival and the casino activity at the mouth (or butt end of the GI tract, rather) of the Mississippi. The day the storm Gustav formed was the same day Rice was in Israel working to divide the land. This sign comes also in the midst of the national conventions that are the center of political attention in America. It also follows closely on the tail of the Beijing Olympics, and in this connection I feel there is some long sought insight into the book of Revelation.

I'm going to be really brief with this. Revelation 12 opens with the celestial sign marking the birth of Y'shua. It is the second verse that connects the birth to the sign, and it is verse 5 that identifies the son born to us as the Messiah. To put that together you notice we have to jump around a bit. This indicates there are multiple layers of truth in this tapestry. Historically, we know of Herod's actions (Matthew 2) and see how it might relate to Revelation 12 and the dragon's efforts to devour the child. We also see historically how Joseph and Mary might have fulfilled Revelation 12:6 when they took Y'shua and fled to Egypt. However, it isn't hard to see there is more to Revelation 12 than that - much is not yet fulfilled. Verse 3 opens by declaring "Then another sign appeared in heaven" but does not indicate by what interval of time it might follow. Nor does it declare the sign in the manner of verse 1. The verse does state: "and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems." I assumed this might have been describing the celestial sign, but perhaps not. Perhaps it is merely associated with it, and the second sign following the former sign is like unto it in some way. I'm thinking the "another sign" might well be the one coming on the eleventh. Given the Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony and the symbolic drama that was broadcast to the world, when I now read about the great red dragon I cannot help but see a connection. There is more to the red dragon than China, I feel, yet when the shoe is a custom fit it must be worn, Amen? Something like $40 B was reportedly spent on hosting the Olympics in Beijing. A significant chunk of change went into the ceremonies, their planning and execution. This kind of thing doesn't just happen. Was the expense wasted or was it an investment? The wars coming soon don't just happen. They too are purposed. During the closing ceremony there was a performance that appeared to represent the stars being flung from heaven to the earth. There was a baptism, a conception and birth. Watch and be ready.
